Law enforcement officials have successfully detained a female suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred at the district attorney’s office in a rural central Pennsylvania county, Your Content has learned.

State police made this announcement on Wednesday, shedding light on the unsettling incident.

According to state police reports, troopers promptly responded to a distress call at approximately 3 p.m. on Wednesday, rushing to the scene at the Cameron County district attorney’s office in Emporium.
