Late Tuesday night, a devastating incident unfolded as an 18-year-old University of Connecticut student, Zaid Deje Langs-Myers, was fatally shot while driving, Your Content has learned.

The circumstances point to a failed marijuana robbery as Langs-Myers suffered fatal gunshot wounds before crashing into a bridge in Hartford at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered a significant quantity of marijuana inside Langs-Myers’ vehicle, shedding light on a possible motive for the crime.
