Authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in an alarming incident at an NYC subway station, Your Content has learned.

A woman was unexpectedly struck by an assailant’s punch, causing her to fall, in an incident captured on video.

The footage begins calmly, with the woman engrossed in her cell phone while walking along the platform at Clinton-Washington Avenues Station in Brooklyn last Sunday.

Suddenly, the suspect emerges, approaching her from the opposite direction.

As they pass each other on the platform, he delivers a powerful blow to her face, resulting in her collapse.

In a state of disorientation, the woman shields her injured face with her hands as a fellow passenger from a stationary subway train rushes to her aid.

Disturbingly, the victim took to TikTok to share the video of the assault, displaying her black eye and expressing self-blame for not being attentive while engrossed in her phone.

Meanwhile, law enforcement is actively pursuing the assailant, who swiftly fled the station. The NYPD detectives are working diligently to apprehend this individual, ensuring the safety of the community, according to TMZ.
