Renowned artist Travis Scott is currently under scrutiny by a Texas grand jury, who are deliberating whether to pursue criminal charges in connection with the tragic incident at the Astroworld festival, Your Content has learned.

The rapper’s legal representative, Kent Schaffer, the Harris County Grand Jury is presently in session, evaluating whether or not Scott should be held accountable for his decision to continue performing despite the chaotic stampede that resulted in the unfortunate deaths of 10 individuals, as well as numerous injuries.

Schaffer emphasizes that Scott will not be providing testimony and remains hopeful that the jurors will ultimately recognize his client’s innocence, asserting that he did not commit any criminal acts.

Since the outset, Travis Scott has maintained that he was unaware of the unfolding stampede, highlighting the fact that several police officers present in the crowd, responsible for ensuring the fans’ safety, were also oblivious to the severity of the situation.

In videos captured during the event, some officers can even be seen dancing while Scott performs.

While civil lawsuits have already been filed against Travis Scott and the organizers of the festival in response to the tragic incident, he has not yet faced any criminal charges.

When contacted for comment, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office declined to provide a statement, according to TMZ.
