Woman Sustains Leg Amputation in Thailand Airport Incident

A distressing incident occurred at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, resulting in a woman suffering a significant leg injury, Your Content has learned.

On Thursday morning, as the woman was attempting to catch a 9:45 AM flight, her foot became trapped in a moving walkway in Terminal 2.

Alarmed witnesses swiftly activated the emergency switch upon seeing her leg being mangled.

The accompanying image reveals the woman’s foot caught beneath the walkway’s belt, necessitating a medical team to amputate her leg above the knee in order to extricate her.

The injured woman, a 57-year-old Thai national, is currently receiving treatment at two different hospitals, with efforts being made to reattach her severed limb.

Airport authorities have expressed their commitment to covering the woman’s medical expenses.

Furthermore, there is a possibility of her receiving additional compensation for the incident, according to TMZ.
