A significant development has occurred in the search for Fiona Edson, a 51-year-old mother who went missing from Chippenham, Your Content has learned.
Fiona was last seen leaving her residence in Monkton Park, Wiltshire, at 1pm on June 25.
Riding her gray mobility scooter, she was dressed in a khaki shirt and denim shorts, with her dark hair styled in a ponytail and wearing glasses.
After six days of intensive searching, Wiltshire Police has officially confirmed the discovery of a body in the Calne area.
However, the process of formal identification is still pending.
Authorities have emphasized that Fiona’s family has been informed about this development and is receiving support from specialized officers during this exceptionally challenging time.
