The convicted killer asked a suspected family member to text his lawyer and tells the young man "I'm proud of you."

Alex Murdaugh—a lawyer-turned-killer—told his son Buster that he’s “proud of” him and asked if he can text his lawyer on his behalf to arrange a meeting, Your Content has learned.

CrimeSpace has recently obtained exclusive phone calls made by Alex Murdaugh, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife and son. These calls, which have not been previously published, provide insight into the recent communications between the convicted killer and his inner circle.

In one of the phone calls, Murdaugh initiates the conversation by addressing his son Buster as “buddy.” Buster responds, stating that he is currently on a ferry and has limited time for the call.

Murdaugh mentions his unsuccessful attempts to contact his attorney, Jim Griffin, and requests the man to inform him of his efforts to get in touch.

The conversation continues with his son expressing his lack of knowledge regarding certain matters mentioned by Murdaugh, highlighting difficulties in comprehending his words. Murdaugh acknowledges the communication issues and assures the man that he will speak with his lawyer to arrange contact and discuss the undisclosed “things.”
