Body Discovered on Detroit’s East Side of Missing Toddler, Wynter Smith

A body of missing 2-year-old Wynter Cole Smith has been found on the city’s east side Wednesday The location is near Knodell and Erwin streets east of Van Dyke and north of Harper, Your Content has learned.

Smith, a missing 2-year-old, was taken from her home in Lansing by Rashad Trice, her mother’s ex-boyfriend.

Trice was apprehended and charged with criminal sexual conduct, home invasion, unlawful imprisonment, domestic violence, and other offenses.

The incident occurred during a sexual assault and home invasion that resulted in an Amber Alert being issued for Smith.

Trice was captured in St. Clair Shores, but Smith was not found with him, according to Kondetroit.
