Rudy Farias’ mom told neighbors that she worries police ‘are going to arrest’ her for ‘hiding’ her son for 8 years, allegedly faking his disappearance.

The mother of Rudy Farias told neighbors that she worries police ‘are going to arrest’ her for ‘hiding’ her son for eight years, allegedly faking his disappearance, Your Content has learned.

“Now they want to arrest me,” Rudy’s mother Janie Santana says in a video recorded by a neighbor. “They said I was hiding him.”

As Your Content readers know, Houston Police have launched an investigation into the peculiar case of Rudy Farias, who reappeared over the weekend, eight years after disappearing from his family home. Neighbors have come forward, claiming they had regularly spotted him in the area during his absence.

The police chief, Troy Finner, reassured the public that the Houston Police Department (HPD) is fully committed to getting to the bottom of the matter. Finner acknowledged the public’s questions and emphasized that the truth will eventually come out.

Rudy Farias, now 25 years old, was discovered outside a church last week with visible cuts and bruises. His mother had reported him missing at the age of 17 when he failed to return home after going for a walk with his dogs.

Upon his discovery, Farias was in a severely beaten state, rendering him unable to speak. He is currently receiving medical care at a hospital as part of his recovery process.

However, doubts have emerged within the community since the heartwarming story of his return made national headlines. Kisha Ross, a neighbor who knew Farias as ‘Dolph,’ claimed that he had never been missing and used to spend time in her garage with her relatives.

The local residents were perplexed when news reports announced Farias’ discovery, considering they had frequently seen him in the area. An anonymous neighbor expressed astonishment at the revelation that someone from their neighborhood had been reported missing.

Janie Santana, Farias’ mother, is scheduled to meet with investigators from the Houston Police Department to provide more information about her son’s disappearance and sudden reappearance.

As skepticism grows, an individual claiming to be Farias’ aunt, Lupita Ortiz, has come forward to defend the family against allegations of deception. However, the authenticity of Ortiz’s relation to the Farias family remains unverified.
