A tragic incident unfolded in a coastal resort town in South Carolina over the weekend as a single-engine plane crashed, resulting in the loss of five lives, Your Content has learned.

According to a report, The fiery wreck took place near a golf course in North Myrtle Beach on Sunday.

Initial reports indicated the death of one person, but the updated information on Monday revealed that all four passengers and the pilot had perished in the accident.

The Chief Deputy Coroner for Horry County, Tamara Williard, confirmed the unfortunate news, stating that one individual passed away shortly after being transported to a regional hospital, while the remaining victims succumbed to their injuries at the crash site.

As of now, the identities of the deceased and the cause of the plane crash have not been disclosed.
