Six individuals sustained injuries when a substantial tree unexpectedly toppled at Spring Lake Park in Santa Rosa, Your Content has learned.

The Santa Rosa Fire Department promptly responded to the incident after receiving a distress call at 10:46 a.m. Fire crews, accompanied by a rescue team and a Battalion Chief, arrived at the scene along with five ambulances.

According to the SRFD, one person suffered severe injuries, another sustained moderate injuries, and four individuals received medical attention for minor injuries on-site.
