Tragic Plane Crash Claims Life Near Santa Fe Airport

A tragic incident unfolded near the Santa Fe airport when a small plane crashed into a residence, resulting in the death of the pilot, Your Content has learned.

The crash occurred on Tuesday morning, around 9 a.m., and caused the engulfment of the house in flames. Fortunately, there were no other injuries reported.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office promptly responded to the scene and confirmed that there was a sole fatality.

The affected residence, located near Interstate 25 in close proximity to the Santa Fe Regional Airport, suffered significant damage as a result of the blaze.

As a precautionary measure, traffic has been temporarily closed on West Frontage Road from El Sol Court to Los Pinos Road.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office made an announcement on Facebook urging individuals to steer clear of the area.

Detailed photos were also shared on the social media platform, depicting firefighters diligently working to extinguish the fire that had consumed the structure.
