A Texan influencer known as Sassy Trucker, whose real name is Tierra Young Allen, finds herself in a predicament in Dubai after an altercation with a rental car agency employee, Your Content has learned.

The situation unfolded in May when Tierra was involved in a fender bender, resulting in the impounding of the rental vehicle, along with her phone and credit cards. Upon returning to the rental agency, she was allegedly informed that she could only retrieve her belongings if she paid an undisclosed amount.

In response to this demand, she engaged in a heated argument with the employee, prompting the involvement of the police.

As a consequence of the altercation, Tierra’s passport was seized by the authorities. While she has been released from custody, she remains stuck in Dubai, uncertain about the potential legal repercussions she might face.

The Emirati authorities are currently deliberating whether or not to prosecute her.

Tierra, who is well-known for her online persona “Sassy Trucker,” is a prominent figure in the world of trucking influencers. She has previously visited Dubai on multiple occasions and extensively documented her trips on social media.

The exact duration of Tierra’s detention remains unclear, and her current whereabouts have not been disclosed. Her mother, Tina Baxter, stated that Tierra was in Dubai with a friend at the time of her arrest, and her friend has chosen to stay by her side until they can both return home.

Seeking support and assistance, Tierra’s family has reached out to Detained in Dubai, a non-profit organization that aids US citizens facing incarceration in the UAE. Its CEO expressed sympathy for the family’s situation, highlighting other cases where Americans had to pay “extortion fees” to rental car agencies to recover their passports and leave the country.

In addition to seeking help from Detained in Dubai, Tierra’s family has enlisted the support of Senator Ted Cruz’s office. Senator Cruz’s staff has already been in contact with the Department of State regarding Tierra’s case and is committed to continuing their efforts until she is safely returned to her family in the United States, according to Instagram.
