In a chilling unsolved case dating back to 1976, Terrance Schonleber, a 25-year-old man with a criminal past, was found lifeless on the northern edge of Interstate 276 Westbound (PA Turnpike), near Mile Marker 347, in Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County, PA, Your Content has learned.
His body bore the unmistakable signs of a violent end he had been shot multiple times.
Schonleber, known for his involvement in criminal activities in New Jersey and Philadelphia, was not just an ordinary citizen. He was a fugitive, having escaped from a state prison in Bordentown, New Jersey, where he was serving a five-year sentence for possession of dangerous drugs.
Known to use a variety of aliases, including David Gibson, Todd Lambert, and Terrence Sori/Bori, Schonleber’s escape occurred on December 11, 1975.
Despite the passage of time, the Pennsylvania State Police Troop M Criminal Investigation Assessment Unit remains committed to solving this cold case. They are appealing to the public for any information related to this incident.
