Police are responding to reports of an active shooter at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Your Content has learned.


Update 3:10 P.M.: CMD Police Department has just confirmed the number of injuries has now escalated to 10, although it remains unclear how many of these are gunshot wounds. Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene, actively searching for the perpetrator.


Initial Report: indicate that several shots have been fired, resulting in a minimum of three injuries. The exact number of victims is yet to be confirmed. Authorities have placed the campus under a full lockdown.
