Chester City Police looking for man who stole purse from woman doing laundry


CHESTER CITY, Pa. (YC) — A Chester City woman was doing her laundry after a long workday at a local laundromat when her purse was stolen.

Police responded to JSSK Laundry located at 2930 West 9th Street just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the man entered the laundromat and snatched her purse as she was doing her laundry. The man then ran out of the building.

Chester City Police obtained video surveillance from the laundromat which captured the suspect in the act. Now the City of Chester Police Department Detective Division is asking for assistance in identifying and locating the whereabouts of this actor.
