Dallas, Georgia, police, in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, have successfully apprehended a serial bank robber following a series of robberies in the metro Atlanta area.
The individual arrested is 27-year-old Khyri Brown of Dallas, Georgia. In several of the robberies, Brown reportedly used or displayed a gun while demanding money from bank tellers. Brown was located and arrested without incident in Dallas on Wednesday morning.
Dallas Police collaborated with Marietta Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the investigation. The agencies compared notes and evidence, suggesting that the multiple bank robberies were committed by the same individual.
Dallas Police Chief Joe Duval expressed pride in the collaboration between officers and detectives from various agencies. Chief Duval emphasized that criminals seeking to operate in the city are not welcome, underlining the commitment to public safety.
