Several townships throughout region are swarming with sex offenders – and according to the Megan’s Law registry, 10% of the state’s absconding predators are Delaware County natives.
Now an in-depth yc.news investigation has tracked down the last known location of these runaway sex offenders – and according to experts, they’ll likely commit their atrocities yet again if they are not returned to state authorities.
Delaware County holds 4.7% of the state’s population – but a whopping 10% of absconding sex offenders.
“That number leaves the remaining counties throughout Pennsylvania to hold just 1.3% of the remaining absconding sex offenders, each,” criminal profiler Maria Glass told yc.news. “Delaware County holds nearly ten times more than that, according to Megan’s Law.”
Pennsylvania is home to 67 counties. According to the registry, 129 sex offenders within the state absconded – thirteen of those are from Delaware County alone.
Pedro Blasani, 43
• Charge: Sexual Abuse of Children & Possession of Child Pornography
• Last Known Address: 49 Industrial Highway, Essington, Pa.

According to court records, the convicted pedophile was arrested and charged on Mar. 28, 2014 for charges pertaining to sex crimes against children. He was convicted on August 18, 2014.
