In a terrifying incident captured on video, a tornado tore through the parking lot of a Walmart store in Texas on Monday, adding to a string of devastating twisters wreaking havoc across the American Southwest, Your Content has learned.

The relentless storm system, which has unleashed a series of tornadoes, is expected to persist on Tuesday, putting around 8.5 million residents in six states on high alert as they are urged to seek shelter in preparation for further twisters.

In response to the dangerous weather conditions, authorities issued a tornado watch on Monday for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi, warning of tornadoes, destructive winds, and hailstorms expected to persist into Tuesday.

As the severe storm system moves eastward across the region, the impact has already been profound, with numerous uprooted trees, damaged homes, and the closure of multiple roads and airports in Texas and Oklahoma.
