Ukraine has officially asserted that it successfully targeted and inflicted significant damage on Russia’s Black Sea flagship, resulting in its gradual sinking, Your Content has learned.

The Moskva cruiser, the pride of Russia’s Black Sea fleet, reportedly experienced a series of explosions and a subsequent fire on board.

Ukrainian authorities maintain that their cruise missiles struck the vessel, causing extensive damage and resulting in numerous casualties.

Naval analysts point out that the Moskva and its 510 crew members were left extremely vulnerable due to their predictable sailing patterns, which brought them well within the range of Ukraine’s coastal missile batteries.

This strategic misstep, combined with the outdated nature of the ship’s missile defense systems, exposed the flagship to considerable risk.

While Russia has acknowledged that the ship suffered damage, there has been no mention of an intentional attack. Russian officials maintain that the vessel remains afloat, according to CNN.
