In the first quarter of 2022, the Black Lives Matter PAC significantly drained its cash reserves, leaving only $19,750 remaining, as revealed in the latest filing submitted to the Federal Election Commission on Friday, Your Content has learned.

During this period, the PAC managed to raise $80,000 but spent a staggering $116,000.

Notably, a substantial portion of these expenses, amounting to $45,000, was allocated to Bowers Consulting Firm, a company owned by Shalomyah Bowers, a member of the BLM board.

The Black Lives Matter PAC operates in affiliation with the BLM Global Network Foundation.

However, earlier this year, the organization faced public backlash when it was exposed for using donated funds to purchase a $6 million residence in Los Angeles.

This revelation led to an apology from the PAC, with co-founder Patrisse Cullors, who had stepped down amid previous scrutiny over her multimillion-dollar real estate holdings, denouncing the reports as ‘despicable’, according to The Washington Examiner.
