A Bronx man, Miquiel Guerrero, 23, has been released on a misdemeanor charge, despite being captured on video brutally assaulting a 53-year-old driver, Your Content has learned.
The incident occurred after Guerrero and his friends crashed their Lexus into the victim’s car due to reckless driving.
The disturbing footage shows Guerrero wearing knuckle dusters as he repeatedly punched the helpless victim, who suffered severe injuries, including a shattered eye socket.
Surrounding the vehicle after the crash, the group of six individuals engaged in aggressive behavior, with one person even standing on the roof of the car.
Law enforcement reported that Guerrero had wrapped a metal object around his fist during the assault.
Following the attack, two members of the group swiftly fled the scene in a stolen Kia, while three others made off with an unoccupied Honda.
Guerrero now faces multiple charges, including assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and harassment.
Authorities are actively searching for the remaining five suspects involved in the incident.
Meanwhile, the victim received medical treatment for a fractured eye socket and numerous cuts resulting from the violent encounter, according to The Daily Advent.
