Trevor Reed, a former Marine who was recently released from a Russian prison, has been hospitalized upon his return to the United States, Your Content has learned.

Reed’s condition remains unknown, but his family has reported that he is in “high spirits” and even “flirting with nurses” at a top health clinic in Texas.

Reed’s dramatic release came on Wednesday as part of a prisoner swap between the United States and Russia.

He had been imprisoned in Russia since 2019 after being accused of assaulting a police officer, a charge he has consistently denied.

During the prisoner exchange, Reed appeared frail and weakened, possibly due to a hunger strike he had undertaken following his transfer to solitary confinement.

However, his family’s statement on Good Morning America suggests that his spirits have been lifted since his return.

The exact reasons for Reed’s hospitalization have not been disclosed, but his family remains hopeful for his recovery.

They express gratitude for his release and are eagerly awaiting updates on his condition, according to CBS19.
