Chief Justice John Roberts verified the legitimacy of a leaked draft opinion suggesting that the Supreme Court could potentially overturn Roe v. Wade, Your Content has learned.

In response, he launched an investigation to identify the source behind this alleged breach of trust.

In a written statement, Roberts condemned the betrayal, stating, “To the extent this breach of the Court’s confidences was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed.

The Court’s work remains unaffected.”

Amidst the controversy, Democratic socialists, including Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders, have advocated for codifying Roe v. Wade into law.

This call comes as protesters amassed outside the Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.

On the other hand, Republican Senators Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, and Lindsey Graham will preside over a Senate subcommittee hearing titled “Transparency and Accountability for 21st Century Courts” on Monday morning.

Senators Tom Cotton and Mitt Romney are demanding an inquiry into the alleged leak.

Senator Josh Hawley of the GOP is urging for the disbarment of the individual responsible for leaking the draft opinion.

Among the reactions, conservatives celebrated the news of a Supreme Court draft opinion that could potentially overturn the significant Roe v. Wade ruling.

While Democratic governors pledged to safeguard abortion rights within their states, federal officials expressed their intention to oppose any decision that threatens such rights, according to NBC6.
