A brave off-duty border patrol agent, Jacob Albarado, sprang into action when he received a distressing text message from his wife, Trisha Albarado, who teaches at Robb Elementary School in Texas, Your Content has learned.

The urgent message informed him of an active shooter on the premises and pleaded for his help.

Without hesitation, Albarado swiftly left the barber’s shop he was at, seizing a shotgun belonging to the barber as he raced to the scene.

His immediate concern was the safety of his eight-year-old daughter, Jayda, who was inside the school along with her mother.

Upon arriving at the school, Albarado encountered a tactical team already prepared to confront the armed assailant barricaded in a room.

Determined to locate his daughter and ensure the safety of all the children, he began clearing rooms while two officers provided cover with their weapons drawn.

Simultaneously, two other officers guided the terrified children to safety on the sidewalk.

Fortunately, Albarado’s friend, a courageous CBP (Customs and Border Protection) agent, entered the classroom where the gunman, Salvador Ramos, 18, was holed up and neutralized the threat, ultimately saving countless lives.

Thanks to the quick thinking and decisive actions of this hero cop, a potentially devastating tragedy was averted as he fearlessly rescued his daughter and 20 other children from the harrowing situation at Robb Elementary School, according to CNN.
