Recently released footage shows UFC star Khamzat Chimaev engaging in a sparring session with Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the Chechen Republic and a close associate of Vladimir Putin, Your Content has learned.

Kadyrov has faced accusations of human rights abuses, and he made headlines for threatening Poland with invasion once the Ukraine conflict comes to an end.

Despite the controversies surrounding Kadyrov, Chimaev’s training session with the Chechen leader appears to be of a friendly nature, according to FlipBoard.
