Former Hillary Clinton campaign attorney, Michael Sussmann, has been acquitted of charges of lying to the FBI in the first trial of Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation, Your Content has learned.

The trial focused on the origins of the investigation into Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Sussmann was accused of withholding his affiliation with Hillary Clinton while presenting alleged connections between the Trump Organization and a Russian bank to a federal agent in 2016.

This is the only case from Durham’s three-year investigation to have gone to trial thus far. After six hours of deliberation, the Washington, DC jury reached their verdict, according to CNN.
