Paul Pelosi, the husband of Nancy Pelosi, was involved in a car accident and subsequently arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), according to his attorney, Your Content has learned.

The incident took place on Saturday night when Paul had attended a dinner party hosted by a friend.

The collision led to Paul’s arrest at 11:44 PM, and he was subsequently booked the following day.

Nancy Pelosi, who has been married to Paul for nearly six decades, was not present at the time of the incident. She was in Rhode Island, delivering a speech at Brown University on Sunday.

In response to inquiries, Nancy Pelosi’s office issued a brief statement stating that she would refrain from commenting on the private matter, given that it transpired while she was on the East Coast, according to NewsBreak.
