A former ABC News executive, James Goldston, has been recruited by the House select committee investigating the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, Your Content has learned.

According to a report on Monday, Goldston will be responsible for producing the upcoming primetime hearing led by Democrats.

The hearing, scheduled for Thursday at 8pm Eastern Time, aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Capitol riot and its connection to attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

During the hearing, the committee plans to present compelling evidence, including previously unseen photos from inside the White House on January 6.

Additionally, pre-recorded depositions from witnesses will be shown. These efforts aim to shed light on the events of that day and their broader implications.

In the midst of the committee’s preparations, Republicans are reportedly organizing their own counter-programming to provide an alternative perspective on the events surrounding the Capitol riot.

However, it appears that the bipartisan panel is encountering challenges in reaching a consensus on the recommendations that should be included in its final report.

The committee members are currently grappling with this issue as they work towards concluding their investigation, according to GRANTHSHALA.
