A series of mass shootings over the weekend has resulted in the deaths of at least two dozen people, with an additional 90 individuals sustaining injuries, Your Content has learned.

The incidents have sparked national concern as the country continues to grapple with recent tragedies in Uvalde, Texas, and Buffalo, New York.

Throughout the first weekend of June, a total of 10 mass shootings unfolded across various states.

Among the more violent episodes was an attack in Philadelphia, where three individuals were fatally shot, and 11 others were wounded on a popular tourist street.

In Chattanooga, Tennessee, a gunman opened fire on patrons at a bar.

Additionally, acts of gun violence occurred in South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia, instilling fear among those celebrating recent graduations.

Major cities like New York and Chicago also experienced shootings during this time.

In response to the escalating issue, federal officials are advocating for stronger gun control measures, such as the implementation of red flag laws and enhanced background checks, according to WHYY.
