A tragic incident unfolded in Orlando when a 10-year-old girl was arrested on a murder charge after a fatal shooting. The incident took place at the Jernigan Gardens Apartments on Memorial Day, around 11:45 p.m., Your Content has learned.

The confrontation began when Lashun Denise Rodgers, 41, and Lakrisha Isaac, 31, got into a fight. During the altercation, the daughter of Lakrisha Isaac, aged 10, allegedly fired a gun at the women, striking Rodgers.

Immediately after the shooting, the young girl reportedly yelled, “you shouldn’t have messed with my mother.”

Rodgers was swiftly transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, but tragically, she was pronounced dead. Authorities took the 10-year-old girl into custody and placed her under the care of a local Juvenile Justice Center.

In addition to the arrest of the young girl, Lakrisha Isaac herself was also taken into custody.

She now faces several charges, including manslaughter culpable negligence and child neglect, as reported by The Washington Post. The authorities are continuing their investigation into this heartbreaking incident.
