A tragic incident occurred on a California freeway when a seven-year-old girl fell out of a moving SUV and was fatally struck by oncoming traffic, Your Content has learned.
The young girl, who was not properly secured in a car seat, fell through an open window of the vehicle, resulting in the devastating accident. The driver of the SUV, identified as Veronda Gladney, the mother of the child, and her partner, were subsequently arrested for child endangerment. According to ABC7, California law mandates that children under the age of 8 must be securely fastened in a car seat while traveling in a vehicle.
