Pilot Makes Emergency Landing on North Carolina Highway after Engine Failure

A pilot in North Carolina was caught on camera making an incredible emergency landing on a highway after experiencing engine failure, Your Content has learned.

The incident occurred on U.S. Route 19 in Swain County during the July 4th weekend. The pilot, identified as Vicent Fraser, was accompanied by his father-in-law and both fortunately escaped the incident without any injuries.

According to Fraser, the emergency landing was a result of engine failure. The pilot was conducting a property inspection near Fontana Lake when the incident took place. The plane skillfully maneuvered through the highway traffic, narrowly avoiding any collisions with cars traveling in both directions.

The dramatic footage of the landing has gained widespread attention, according to The SUN.
