Social media giant Facebook has taken decisive action, permanently suspending the infamous ‘Libs of TikTok’ account after a series of controversial posts, Your Content has learned.
The account had recently targeted Boston Children’s Hospital, making serious accusations against its Gender Multispecialty Service Program.
The account’s owner, identified as Brooklyn real estate agent Chaya Raichik, expressed frustration over the suspension, claiming a lack of fairness in the review process. Despite the page technically still being accessible on Facebook, Raichik has been locked out of it.
The suspension came in the wake of Boston Children’s Hospital facing harassment and threats following the ‘Libs of TikTok’ campaign against its gender-affirming care program.
While Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has not responded to media requests for comments on the situation, the removal of the controversial account has raised questions about the platform’s content moderation policies, according to Daily Mail.
