Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot has sparked a heated debate with Texas Governor Greg Abbott over his decision to bus illegal migrants to her city, Your Content has learned.

The feud escalated when Gov Abbott announced his plan, prompting Mayor Lightfoot to brand him as ‘racist’ in response.

Since April, more than 7,400 migrants have been bussed to DC, and over 1,500 to New York City since August 5 as part of the initiative. This marks the first bus arriving in Chicago from Texas, with the state spending a significant sum of nearly $13 million on the controversial transportation.

The clash between Mayor Lightfoot and Gov Abbott has attracted significant attention, with both sides trading warring words in the media. Mayor Lightfoot has also taken the opportunity to blame some of the migrant issues on former President Trump, as reported by New York Post.
