In a heart-wrenching incident, an Indiana man, Eric Montgomery, 33, has been arrested and charged with an alleged rape involving a 20-year-old University of Indiana sorority girl, Avery McMillan, Your Content has learned.

The unfortunate incident occurred at his parents’ residence, and it has left the community in shock.

According to official reports, McMillan was found unconscious and unresponsive by Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies on August 17. Promptly administering three cans of Narcan, which is used to counter the effects of opioid overdoses, they attempted to save her life. Despite their efforts, she tragically passed away.

The investigation into the case unveiled that Montgomery had provided alcohol and cannabis to the young woman before the incident. Authorities also revealed that the suspect has a violent and extensive criminal history, adding further concern to the case.
