Former White House Strategist and ex-advisor to Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, is set to surrender to New York authorities on Thursday, Your Content has learned.

The surrender comes in connection to the ‘We Build the Wall’ fundraising initiative, which aimed to crowdfund the construction of the US-Mexico border wall, a project highly touted by former President Trump.

Despite receiving a pardon from Trump on related charges back in January 2021, Bannon now faces state-level charges for his involvement in the fundraising effort. In response to the new indictment, Bannon defiantly called out the prosecutors, stating, “They are coming after all of us, not only President Trump and myself.”

The ‘We Build the Wall’ controversy has remained in the public eye, and now, Bannon’s legal situation adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing saga.
