In a shocking incident, a Tennessee man, Bradley Dawson, 39, has been accused of brutally beating his new bride, Christe Chen, 36, to death during their honeymoon in Fiji, Your Content has learned.

The tragic incident occurred at their luxurious honeymoon bungalow, which cost $3,500 per night, on July 9. The newlywed pharmacist’s injuries were so severe that her remains had to be cremated as she could not be embalmed.

Dawson, who appeared in court in Lautoka, Fiji’s second-largest city, was denied bail and will await trial. He had fled to an island 1.2 miles away after the murder, leaving behind his GPS watch and mobile phone but taking his wallet and passport.

Although initially confessing to the crime, Dawson has now retracted his statement. The investigation into this heart-wrenching tragedy continues, as reported by FLIPBOARD.
