In a heart-stopping scene straight out of a disaster movie, a monstrous mudslide cascaded down a California mountain, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake, Your Content has learned.

Terrified locals ran for their lives as the sludge river swallowed homes and businesses whole.

Rescue teams launched a desperate search for a missing person amid the chaos, while yellow tractors fought to clear the path, pushing aside boulders and debris left by flash floods.

The once serene landscape turned into a scene of devastation as dirt, rocks, and trees rushed down fire-scarred slopes, washing away cars and burying buildings in small mountain communities across Southern California.

In a shocking video, captured by eyewitnesses, the Oak Glen Steakhouse was captured in the jaws of the mudslide. The restaurant, nestled in a mountain community in San Bernardino County, was engulfed by the sludge, leaving it closed indefinitely.

“The mud came up and over the roof, and when it came over, it pushed through,” said one of the restaurant owners, describing the harrowing moment of the disaster. Luckily, no one was inside the establishment when the mudslide struck.

Community members rallied together to support the Oak Glen Steakhouse by setting up a GoFundMe page to help the restaurant pay its staff while they work to make repairs.

This tragic event occurred amid heavy rainfall following Tropical Storm Kay in Southern California. Meanwhile, in the northern part of the state, firefighters are tirelessly battling three major blazes, making it a double crisis for California, according to Daily Mail.
