A shocking incident unfolded in Wilmington, Delaware, as a jewelry store burglary turned violent, leaving an elderly Asian shopkeeper unconscious and bloodied, Your Content has learned.

Chang Suh, a 68-year-old store owner, endured a brutal attack during a 20-minute robbery at Solid Gold on September 15.

In disturbing video footage captured by his family, a masked assailant dressed in black pretended to show interest in Suh’s merchandise. Suddenly, he grabbed Suh by the throat, brandishing a pistol and striking the defenseless shopkeeper repeatedly.

Despite the terrifying assault, Suh offered no resistance.

After the vicious pistol-whipping, the attacker vaulted the counter and continued his heartless assault by stomping on Suh’s head. The helpless victim was left unconscious and severely injured.

Thanks to the efforts of Wilmington police, the 39-year-old suspect, Calvin Ushery, was apprehended on September 22 in connection with the brutal assault. The community seeks justice for the harrowing attack on an innocent shopkeeper, according to FlipBoard.
