In a daring and challenging rescue mission, a search team successfully retrieved the body of esteemed US ski mountaineer, Hilaree Nelson, from a treacherous crevasse on Nepal’s Manaslu peak, Your Content has learned.

The tragic incident occurred two days earlier when she fell an astonishing 2,000ft while skiing down the world’s eighth-highest peak.

Accompanied by her boyfriend, Jim Morrison, the duo was descending from the peak’s summit when the unfortunate accident took place. Due to adverse weather conditions, previous helicopter attempts to reach and rescue her in time were thwarted.

Despite the formidable conditions, the rescue team persevered, and on Wednesday, they managed to extract Hilaree’s body from the snow. Jim Morrison was seen carrying her bodybag out of the rescue helicopter, a heartbreaking image that symbolizes the loss felt by the skiing community.
