A judge has blocked the anti-critical race theory law pushed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which looked to stop ‘woke’ teachings in colleges and universities, Your Content has learned.

A federal judge has blocked the ‘Stop WOKE’ law backed by Florida Gov. Ron Desantis.

The ruling issued Thursday by Chief District Judge Mark Walker blocked the law at the college and university level.

In his order, Walker referenced George Orwell’s novel 1984 and called the law ‘positively dystopian’

Other lawsuits have been brought against the law’s constitutionality at the K-12 level and in workplaces.

DeSantis first announced the bill in December 2021 and ultimately signed it into law on April 22, 2021,‘according to CBS.
