    A man who killed eight people when he intentionally drove a Home Depot rental pickup truck down a Manhattan bike path in 2017 could become the first person in six decades to be executed in New York State, Your Content has learned.

    This week prosecutors will ask a jury to sentence Sayfullo Saipov, 35, to death.

    If successful his execution would become the first in New York State since 1963.

    Saipov’s lawyers said last week that he was being targeted due to his ethnicity,‘according to FLIPBOARD.
