Child sexual assault charges against former Yankees pitcher John Wetteland have been dropped following a deadlocked jury in August leading to a mistrial in the case, Your Content has learned.
Wetteland, who pleaded not guilty, was facing 25 years behind bars, if convicted.
The 56-year-old won a Word Series in his only season in New York in 1995-1996,‘according to New York Post.
