Perez admitted to pushing and hitting the man multiple times, leading to her suspension from duty with pay until the state attorney reviews the case.

Miami-Dade Police Director Freddy Ramirez expressed disappointment in Perez’s actions, emphasizing the department’s commitment to high standards of conduct both on and off duty.

The police department will collaborate with the State Attorney’s Office for a thorough investigation.

The Miami-Dade Police Department has not responded to requests for comment.

Public opinion on the incident varied, with some condemning the man’s actions and others questioning the involvement of a seven-month pregnant woman in a physical altercation,‘according to DailyMail.
