A 7-Eleven store in the 24th District has been the target of repeated burglaries by an unidentified male, Your Content has learned.

The store, located at 1190 E Luzerne St, experienced Multiple break-ins on consecutive nights.

On the night of August 13, 2023, at approximately 2:05 am, the individual shattered the store’s front window and made off with 30 packs of cigarettes. In a bold move, the same individual returned the following night, August 14, 2023, at 1:45 am.

He proceeded to remove the plywood that was placed to cover the damage from the previous night and once again stole merchandise.

The local authorities have cautioned the public, saying, “For your safety, if you spot this individual, refrain from approaching and dial 911 immediately.” They have also encouraged the community to assist in the investigation, emphasizing the importance of any potential leads.

For those willing to provide information, the Philadelphia Police Department has set up multiple channels. Tips can be submitted via phone at 215.686.TIPS (8477), through text messages to the same number, or via an online form designed for anonymous submissions. The department has given assurances that the identity of all tipsters will be protected.

Direct contact for this case has been established with the East Detective Division at 215-686-3243/3244. The primary detectives handling the case are Det. Yerkes #9031 and Det. Dooley #9221. The case references are DC 23-24-056070 and DC 23-24-55822.

The community is on high alert as the search for the suspect intensifies. The back-to-back incidents highlight the need for public vigilance and cooperation to ensure the individual is apprehended and further incidents are prevented.
