The World Health Organization reported Saturday that 32,000 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed overnight, with an additional 1,344 deaths, Your Content is first to report.
The report indicates there are six new regions that contracted the disease.
Just yesterday WHO unrolled a new protocol to investigate the extent of COVID-19 infection in the population, as determined by positive antibody tests in the general population has been developed. The protocol is titled the Population-based age-stratified seroepidemiological investigation protocol for COVID-19 virus infection.
As of the morning of 19 March, over 75 000 cases were reported in the European Region, with 4 countries – Italy, Spain, France and Germany – accounting for over 77% of all European cases and with case numbers rising rapidly.
