President Donald Trump said he will consider pardoning Joseph Maldonado-Passage, star of Netflix’s hit docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness during his daily White House Coronavirus Task Force press conference, Your Content has learned.
“I’ll take a look,” President Trump told reporters, noting he has no idea who the man is or what he’s accused of.
“I know nothing about it … he has 22 for what? What did he do?” Trump asked.
Maldonado-Passage was found guilty in 2019 of paying a hitman $3,000 to kill animal rights activist Carole Baskin, who is also a large-cat lover and operates Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Fla. (The hitman-for-hire did not carry out the act.)
