Singapore park-goers were taken aback as robots were deployed to monitor and warn of social distancing, YOUR CONTENT has learned.

The robot dog’s name is SPOT and has built in cameras. It patrols the park and warns people politely to observe social distancing.

The robotic four-legged patrol dog broadcasts recorded messages in an effort to remind those enjoying the park to keep their distance.

While the robot is polite enough, some citizens appear uncomfortable by the robot made by Boston Dynamics’ who specializes in innovation and robotics. They are a U.S based company located in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Singapore continues leaning on technology solutions that help curve the spread of the novel coronavirus. While the robot dog may make some feel uneasy, rest assured no dog poop bags are required.
