A woman from South Florida shares her anguish after her husband was allegedly killed during a dispute over an incomplete car repair, Your Content has learned.
Cindalee Falls recounted the tragic incident that occurred when her husband visited a repair shop in Hollywood to retrieve his vehicle on Friday night.
According to Falls, the shooting occurred when her husband confronted the mechanic about the unfinished repair.
“When he went to pick up the car, [the mechanic] shot him,” she revealed.
Falls explained that a disagreement had arisen between her husband and the assailant, resulting in a devastating outcome.
“My husband lost his life over $700 and an unfinished car,” she lamented.
Hollywood Police reported that the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Rodman Street, near South 58th Avenue.
Falls explained that they had brought their car to the shop for repairs in March but had grown frustrated with the extended delay and demanded a full refund.
However, the mechanic refused their request and offered only $700 as a reimbursement, out of the initial payment of $2,700. Tensions escalated as a result.
Falls stated that the mechanic had already displayed aggressive behavior towards her husband through threatening text messages.
She believes that the situation must have escalated further when her husband arrived to collect the car, tragically leading to his untimely death.
His passing has left Falls, their two children, and their entire family devastated.
“He was a great father and a great husband. Big heart, big heart,”
Falls tearfully expressed, highlighting the deep loss they are experiencing.
The police have apprehended the alleged shooter and are currently conducting an investigation into the incident, according to News7.
